The Dental Quality Assurance Commission (DQAC) filed a rule-making order which will go into effect on Monday, April 29, 2024, amending WAC 246-817-150 Licenses—Persons licensed or qualified out-of state who are faculty at school of dentistry.
The Department of Health has filed an expedited rule making form CR-105 which proposes amendments to WAC 246-12-051 "How to obtain a temporary practice permit- Military spouse".

The Financial Crimes Enforcement Network began accepting beneficial ownership information reports on January 1, and all existing dental practices and companies that meet the requirements have one year to file before facing penalties.

For over three years, the Dental Quality Assurance Commission has been working to update our state’s dental anesthesia rules. The rules have now been finalized and will be effective as of January 11, 2024.
New standards and technical reports are available for comment from the American Dental Association’s Standards Committee on Dental Informatics and Standards Committee on Dental Products.
As a reminder, waiver attestations for Electronic Health Records (EHR)/PMP integration must be submitted annually, by December 1 of each year for the proximate year.
