WSDA Standing Committees
Committee on Continuing Education
This is a rotating committee of up to eight dentist members and up to three hygienists who serve four-year terms. Each term commences on the last day of the PNDC.
The Committee on Continuing Education recommends appointments to the committee for confirmation by the Board of Directors. Each year, the Committee on Continuing Education designates the chair and vice chair, who serves for 12 months.

Committee on Regulatory Affairs
The Committee on Regulatory Affairs focuses on issues overseen by the Washington Dental Commission (WDC) and other government agencies that regulate dentistry.

Nominations Committee
The Nominations Committee identifies candidates for elected and appointed positions within WSDA, including those voted on by the House of Delegates and appointed by the Board of Directors. It also selects participants for the WSDA Leadership Institute, a professional development program for emerging dental leaders. The committee supports transparent and inclusive leadership development across the association.

The Dental Benefit Committee focuses on benefit advocacy and insurance reform, working to address emerging challenges, improve access to care, and influence policy changes that support both patients and providers.

The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee works to foster an inclusive culture within WSDA and expand equitable access to mentorship, leadership, and professional development opportunities. The committee supports initiatives that strengthen connection and belonging among dental professionals and works toward a dental workforce that reflects the diversity of Washington State.
