Mentor Program

What Is the Mentor Program?

The WSDA Mentor Program matches University of Washington School of Dentistry students with mentor dentists who are members of the Washington State Dental Association.

The Mentor Program gives students a valuable opportunity to connect with and learn from WSDA dentists, and gives dentists the opportunity to ​share advice and expertise ​with future members of their profession​.

When: Friday, Jan. 10 from 6:00-8:30 PM
Where: Burke Museum, 4300 15th Ave NE, Seattle, WA 98105

All students and dentists participating in the program are welcome to attend. Enjoy drinks, appetizers and full museum access!

Parking Options

Free Parking
Free parking is available at the Central Plaza Garage (below Red Square) with parking code - "218341".

   -Go to any campus parking booth (gatehouse).
   -Advise the Parking Specialist that you have parking code - "218341" for Central Plaza Garage.
   -Display your permit face up and visible on your dash. Vehicles are subject to a citation if a permit is not visibly displayed.

Paid Parking
Paid parking is available in the N1 parking lot directly next to the Burke Museum at $4 per hour. 

Who Is Eligible?

  • All UW School of Dentistry dental students
  • All WSDA member dentists (both actively practicing and retired) from anywhere in the state

Program Expectations

The Mentor Program is mostly self-​guided, with an emphasis on mentor/mentee communication in whichever method works best for you. To ensure a successful mentor-student match, WSDA asks participants to consider our program expectations.
