WSDA offers members comprehensive student loan repayment resources through our Student Loan Resource Guide. 

The Association also partners with The Institute of Student Loan Advisors (TISLA) to provide members with free student loan counseling and education. Members can attend free webinars and have access to free dedicated 1:1 student loan counseling.

The WSDA Classifieds section offers members access to Washington practices for sale, job opportunities and more. Members can place an ad in the WSDA Classifieds at a discounted rate.

Recent member graduates (up to 2 years out of school) can also post a FREE "opportunity-wanted" classified.

Mentorship is an important resource to help dentists and students achieve clinical, professional, and personal success. WSDA recently passed dental benefits reform legislation in the Washington State Legislature that will help dentists and patients. We continue to aggressively pursue dental benefits advocacy in 2026 and beyond.

Same-Day Denials

WSDA’s bill prohibits same-day denials, the practice that some insurance companies have engaged in to deny claims for multiple procedures just because they were performed during a single appointment when they would otherwise be covered. Learn More

Virtual Credit Cards

WSDA’s bill restricts insurance companies from requiring dental offices to accept payment through virtual credit cards that carry processing fees. Learn More

Dental Loss Ratio & Non-Network Reimbursement Fairness

WSDA’s bill requires stakeholders to undergo a mediation process on the issues of establishing a minimum dental loss ratio and creating non-network reimbursement fairness, directed by the impartial William D. Ruckelshaus Center, a well-respected joint effort of the University of Washington and Washington State University. The process will be fact-based and data-driven, and the Ruckelshaus Center will report back to the Legislature with a recommendation based on its findings.
