Attention Pediatric Medicaid Providers: Updated Pediatric Dental Medicaid Fee Schedule

The Health Care Authority updated the pediatric dental Medicaid fee schedule today, Jan. 3, as there were several updated fees that were excluded.

Please note that the Health Care Authority updated the pediatric dental Medicaid fee schedule today, Jan. 3, as there were several updated fees that were excluded. The most up-to-date version can be found here.

Additionally, it has been brought to our attention that D1120 (prophylaxis-child) was inadvertently excluded from the fee increase. Please know that we are working with lawmakers to address this oversight.

Medicaid Transition to Managed Care Cancelled

The 2019 Legislature has directed the Washington State Health Care Authority (HCA) to continue to administer the dental Medicaid program through fee-for-service. The HCA may not proceed with a carved-out or carved-in managed care dental option at this time.
