Are you a practice owner? Don't miss out on enrolling in WSDA Retro — a free, members-only program that offers you the only possible way to receive a refund on your workers' compensation premiums paid to the Department of Labor & Industries (L&I).
Please note: If you have already signed up for WSDA Retro, there is no need to re-apply.
After launching WSDA Retro in April 2020, WSDA recently distributed $208,000 among qualifying program participants in the program's first-ever refund. This is only the start, and the total refund amount should continue to grow in the coming years! Read below to learn how to qualify to receive a portion of future refunds.
Get Your Office(s) On Track to Earn Refunds
Get your office(s) on track to earn refunds on your workers' compensation premiums by:
- Enrolling in WSDA Retro ASAP (next deadline: June 1). Signing up for this members-only program is free, easy, and also comes with the benefit of complimentary workers’ compensation expertise and support from our program administrator, ERNwest. The earlier you sign up, the earlier you will qualify to receive refunds.
- Staying enrolled for consecutive years. As participants continue their WSDA Retro participation for consecutive years, the refund distribution will begin to include multiple plan years, which should result in considerably larger refunds as the Retro program matures.
