Developed by the ADA New Dentist Committee in 2017, this award recognizes 10 amazing dentists who graduated from a dental school accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation less than 10 years ago. The award celebrates dentists who demonstrate excellence and inspire others in science, research & education, practice excellence, philanthropy, leadership and advocacy. 

Nominees who meet the following criteria will be considered:  

• Must have graduated from a CODA accredited dental school less than 10 years ago at time of nomination (between 2012-2021) 

• ADA member in good standing 

• Inspires others in one of the excellence areas: Science/Research/Education, Practice Excellence, Philanthropy, Leadership, Advocacy 

10 Under 10 Award recipients will be recognized on ADA.org, ADA New Dentist News, at ADA Annual Meeting and through other ADA channels, and will receive a $1,000 cash award and a plaque.
