PNDC 2020 Status Update - March 13

PNDC 2020 will take place as planned May 28-30 in Seattle.
As WSDA finalizes plans for PNDC 2020, we want to assure our attendees, exhibitors, speakers, and other partners that the safety of meeting participants is our highest priority. We offer condolences to those directly affected by the spread of COVID-19 and know that our members are providing support and guidance to their patients and communities as possible.pndc 2020 200

At this time, there are no restrictions in place to prevent meetings or travel during the month of May. No public health authority is advising the cancellation of meetings scheduled for the dates of PNDC 2020.

Given its importance as a significant source of continuing education needed for licensure renewal for many dentists and hygienists, PNDC 2020 will continue as planned May 28-30 at the Washington State Convention Center and partner hotels Sheraton Grand Seattle, Grand Hyatt Seattle, and Hyatt Regency Seattle.

WSDA is taking precautions to ensure the health of all event participants. We are consulting the latest guidance from public health authorities and communicating closely with the Washington State Convention Center and our partner hotels to ensure that recommended cleaning and sanitation protocols are in place and that they are adhering to all state and local guidance.

Over the next eleven weeks, we will continuously review all guidance and do what is in the best interest of our dental community. Any changes to the status of our meeting will be communicated immediately to all registered meeting attendees and participants. In the event that circumstances warrant postponing PNDC 2020, registration fees will be credited toward the next scheduled PNDC.

Our team is dedicated to ensuring rapid responses to inquiries and concerns related to COVID-19. If you have questions, concerns, or suggestions, please contact us at pndc@wsda.org.
