Dr. Judson Werner recently partnered with the Boys and Girls Club of Bellevue to host his office's annual Give Kids A Smile event.

On Feb. 7, the office saw 18 ​children for prophys, exams, fluoride and oral hygiene instructions, ultimately providing over $4,000 worth of free dental care. Children who had restorative needs were scheduled to come back to the office in the weeks following the event.

 

What Is Give Kids A Smile?

Through the ADA's Give Kids A Smile program, launched nationally by the American Dental Association in 2003, more than 5.5 million underserved children have received free oral health services. These free services are provided by volunteers including approximately 7,000 dentists annually, along with 30,000 other dental team members.
