Course Description
In this webinar, Rod Johnston, MBA, CMA, Principal and Owner of Omni Practice Group, will walk through the core financial and operational metrics that define a healthy, high‑performing dental practice. Using real financial statements and production data, Rod will demonstrate how to interpret the numbers that matter most — from staffing ratios and overhead percentages to provider productivity, hygiene performance, collections efficiency, and EBITDA.
You’ll see how these KPIs influence practice value, but more importantly, how they guide day‑to‑day management, growth strategy, and acquisition decisions. Buyers will learn how to evaluate opportunities with confidence. Sellers will understand how to strengthen their practice before going to market. Current owners will gain practical tools to improve profitability and performance immediately.
Rod will also highlight common operational mistakes that reduce value, limit growth, or create red flags during due diligence — along with actionable strategies to correct them.
By the end of the session, you’ll understand how to use KPIs and ratios to manage your practice more effectively, make smarter financial decisions, and position your practice for long‑term success, whether you plan to buy, grow, or eventually transition.
