During the meeting, the Commission will hear a rules update, which may include voting to assign rulemaking for the Dentist and Dental Hygienist Compact as well as for Dental Therapy to a Committee.
The Commission will also discuss rulemaking for SB 5113, which expands faculty licensure from the UW School of Dentistry to any CODA-accredited dental school in Washington. Additionally, the Commission will hear updates on the anesthesia rules and rulemaking for health equity CE.
Finally, the Commission will receive and review their budget report, list of active committees, and may also vote to adopt a 2023-2025 business plan.
