We want to reiterate: Your voice was heard, and your presence is important.
This year's special meeting was much less eventful than the one held in 2017. This outcome speaks to how far Delta members have come in asserting their governance rights. The members controlled the meeting—not Delta leadership—and that is a victory worth celebrating.
The continued presence and commitment by dentists across the state is valuable and greatly appreciated as we continue to seek a better future for our patients and greater transparency in the WDS/Delta governance process. We will keep you informed of any further developments regarding the adoption of the bylaw amendments.
