FAQs

Who qualifies for WSDA L&I Advantage?

Dental practices owned by WSDA member(s) with an industrial insurance account in good standing and who are committed to improving safety in their workplace.

If I enroll in WSDA L&I Advantage, do I need to change anything with how I pay premiums to L&I?

No. You keep reporting and paying premiums to L&I the same way you always have.

Is there an extra cost to join WSDA L&I Advantage?

There is no extra cost to sign up. WSDA members can enroll for free.

Once enrolled, you will remain signed up for as long as you are a WSDA member.

What is the risk? Could I pay more if I sign up?

There is no risk for participating dentists.

You may actually put yourself at risk of paying more than you should if you are not enrolled. If you are faced with a workers’ compensation claim and are not a WSDA L&I Advantage participant, you may have to hire a consultant or attorney to manage the claim for you, or accept the impact that the claim will have on your future rates without knowing if they could have been lowered or eliminated.

Do I need to re-enroll every year?

No, once enrolled, you will remain in WSDA L&I Advantage as long as you remain an active WSDA member. If your L&I account information changes, you may need to update your enrollment paperwork with WSDA.

Can non-member dentists participate?

No. As a benefit of membership, participation in WSDA L&I Advantage is exclusively available to WSDA member dentists. Become a member today to enroll!
