The Dental Quality Assurance Commission (DQAC) is considering rule changes that could have a significant impact on your practice.
Proposed Dental Infection Control Rules
DQAC is currently accepting stakeholder comments on proposed dental infection control rules. WSDA encourages our members to
review the proposed rules and provide feedback to the Commission.
The proposed rules include new requirements such as:
- Sterilization of low-speed hand piece motors after use on a patient
- Quarterly testing of water delivery systems for acceptable water quality
- Infection prevention standards education
