The Commission will hear updates from the Educational Outreach and EFDA Committee as well as consider for approval of exception CR 102 and CR 105 to update health professional monitoring language in alignment with 2022 legislation. The Commission will also consider for approval anesthesia rule language updates and discuss correspondence from Dr. Barry on the annual license renewal, Dr. Sidney Gallegos on dental care for children receiving Medicaid, and Dr. Laura Jordhen regarding vaccinations done by dental professionals.
Additionally, the Commission will review list and label requests, an application from Providence St. Peter for a GDPR in Olympia, and hear reports from the Joint Commission on Dental Examinations, the Central Regional Dental Testing Service and WSDA.
Finally, the Commission will give a Board recruitment update, review their bylaws, and discuss both the Dental and Dental Hygienist Compact along with a license cycle renewal change for dental assistants, EFDAs, and dental anesthesia assistants.
