The Health Care Authority (HCA) reminded you of an upcoming policy change pertaining to opioid prescriptions for Apple Health (Medicaid) as part of the federal
Substance Use-Disorder Prevention that Promotes Opioid Recovery and Treatment (SUPPORT) for Patients and Communities Act.
This is a final heads-up that the implementation date is just around the corner, Nov. 1, 2019.
