DQAC Business Meeting – Dec. 10

The Dental Quality Assurance Commission (DQAC) will hold its next business meeting on Friday, Dec. 10 at 8:30 AM.

The meeting will cover the proposed anesthesia rules, an update from the Dental Continuing Competency Committee on opening up WAC 246-817-160 (Graduates of non-accredited schools), correspondence from Dr. Jim Stevens and from CE Broker, CR-103 rules updates on COVID-19 vaccination delegation, continuing education, and dentist retired active status.

The Commission will also consider a new rule writing request, review organizations to receive list and labels, discuss a 2-year renewal option, as well as hear updates from commission members on the Dental Therapy Task Force (update from Dr. McClellan), on the AADB (American Association of Dental Boards) annual meeting, and on the AADA (American Association of Dental Administrators) annual meeting.

Finally, the Commission will discuss and consider joining CDCA/WREB as a Member State.
