New Commissioners Appointed to DQAC
Governor Inslee has announced his most recent appointments to the Dental Quality Assurance Commission (DQAC). Commissioners carry out several duties, including regulating the competency and quality of dental providers under their jurisdiction, ensuring consistent standards of practice, and developing rules and policies that promote the delivery of quality dental care. DQAC commissioners are eligible to serve two consecutive four year terms.
After a careful vetting process, WSDA endorsed each of the following appointees as being qualified to serve the public as commissioners and provided recommendations for their appointment to the Governor.
- David Carsten, DDS
- Ronald Marsh, DDS
- Julia Richman, DDS
DQAC’s newly appointed commissioners began their terms at the Commission’s July 15th meeting. Congratulations, Drs. and thank you for your commitment to promoting and protecting the safety and health of our state’s citizens!
