Project Homeless Connect in Tacoma · October 28
SAVE THE DATE · OCTOBER 28 · 9 am - 2 pm · TACOMA ARMORY
PCDS will be working with the Project Homeless Connect Dental Team to provide free dental screenings, restorative and emergent care at the Armory during this annual event. Emergent dental care will be done on the Medical Teams International dental van, which will be parked just outside the Bates Dental Clinic.
The Bates Dental Clinic will be working with PCDS to provide emergent dental care and restorative dental care. Bates has ten operatories to provide dental care, creating a total of twelve dental operatories. During the event, Pierce College Dental Hygiene students will be providing prophies, and the Bates dental lab program will be doing denture realignment and repair.
The goal of the event will be to treat as many people in need as possible during the day.
PCDS is welcoming dentist and dental assistant volunteers. For more information or to volunteer, please email Cheryl Jenkins at email@example.com or Jennifer Bunch at firstname.lastname@example.org.
