DQAC Update: 2/10/16

The Dental Quality Assurance Commission (DQAC) is proposing amendments to WAC’s 246-817-510, 520, 525, 540, and 545 related to the delegation of dental duties.

Rule amendments are needed to clarify and amend practice standards regarding delegation of dental duties. Rule amendments will eliminate confusion for licensed dentists, registered dental assistants, and licensed expanded function dental auxiliaries regarding tasks that may or may not be performed.
