DQAC will hear a formal rule request for rural health center facilities to have opioid prescribing exemptions as well as discuss the anesthesia rules, possible draft language for an interpretive statement on the moderate sedation with parenteral agents permit, and also discuss WAC 246-853-655, Administration of Deep Sedation and General Anesthesia by Osteopathic Physicians in Dental Offices.
Additionally, DQAC will hear committee updates from the EFDA and Educational Outreach Committees, review an application form Providence St. Peter for a general dental practice residency, set 2023 meeting dates, and elect the 2022-2023 Chair and Vice-Chair person.
