The Commission will discuss a request from CRDTS to allow simulated technology as an acceptable means of examination and remediation as well as discuss a name change for DQAC.
The Commission will also review various correspondence including an email on updating practice locations, correspondence urging the Commission to revisit considering an exemption from opioid prescribing rules for rural health center facilities that are also long-term care facilities, emails on the Commission's previous decision not to open the rules for dental unit waterline testing, and correspondence from WSDA on changing the interpretation of "annual" from "12 months" to "calendar year" for infection prevention training in order to reduce confusion.
Finally, Dr. Marsh will present the anesthesia rules.
