Member Advisory Panel (MAP) Call for Applicants
Dear Colleague,
Washington Dental Service’s (WDS) Member Nominating Panel (MNP) is seeking four candidates to serve on the WDS Member Advisory Panel (MAP) effective January 1, 2022.
MAP members play a very important role serving as oral health advisors to Delta Dental of Washington’s (DDWA) leadership and Board of Directors. In addition, members serve as a direct communication channel between their dental colleagues and DDWA, providing valuable feedback and insights. If you are looking for an opportunity to help DDWA create an exceptional Member Dentist experience while at the same time contributing to furthering DDWA’s Vision that “All people can enjoy good oral and overall health, with no one left behind,” this may be the leadership opportunity for you. From May 17, 2021 – June 11, 2021, the MNP will be accepting MAP nominations from the Washington State Dental Association, component dental societies and all WDS Member Dentists. If you are interested in nominating a candidate or being considered for the MAP yourself, please complete a MAP Nomination Form by clicking here. We believe strong representation requires diversity and we encourage dentists of all age, gender, race, location, and specialty to consider participating on the MAP. While all applicants will be considered, previous board or committee work and/or participation in community or mission-based activities is desired.
Interested applicants will be screened throughout summer 2021. Finalists will be interviewed by current MAP members in October and final decisions announced in December 2021.
