WSDA, in collaboration with Delta Dental of Washington, is continuing to explore ways to obtain PPE outside of traditional supply chains. We are conducting a second PPE survey to collect information from dental offices about existing supplies on hand.
To collect this data, we are asking dental offices to complete this anonymous survey about your current PPE supply levels. The aggregate data collected in this survey will be useful in efforts to obtain PPE needed for all dental offices.

On May 19, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) released updated Interim Infection Prevention and Control Guidance for Dental Settings During the COVID-19 Response. This interim CDC guidance provides details for dental health care personnel as they begin to resume non-emergency care for patients.
Upon completion of this session, participants should be able to:
- Describe patient and personnel screening for COVID-19.
- Explain dental facility and equipment considerations as dental practices resume non-emergency care.
- Review respiratory protection measures for dental personnel.
