DQAC Seeks Feedback on Opioid Prescribing Patient Notification Rules

DQAC seeks feedback on proposed rules establishing additional opioid prescribing patient notification requirements.
The Dental Quality Assurance Commission (DQAC) is seeking feedback on proposed rule language to amend WAC 246-817-907 – Patient notification, secure storage, and disposal.

SSB 5380, which went into effect July 28, 2019, requires the commission to amend rules establishing additional patient notification requirements when prescribing opioids.
