The Dental Quality Assurance Commission filed a supplemental CR102 on October 22, 2018 under WSR#18-21-155, proposing amendments and new sections to chapter 246-817 WAC. The proposed new sections and changes to existing rule establish requirements and standards for prescribing opioid drugs by dentists consistent with the directives of
Engrossed Substitute House Bill (ESHB) 1427.
The supplemental CR102 form and proposed rules are
attached. The proposed rule changes implement only section 3 of ESHB 1427 concerning the prescribing of opioid drugs by dentists.
