At its hybrid-style meeting, the Commission will consider beginning the rulemaking process for health equity CE, review comments on the anesthesia rules, and discuss letters from Dr. Victor Barry and Cindy Snyder on the process of annual license renewal. Additionally, the Commission will hear an update from Dr. Stevens on the Educational Outreach Committee, hear a report from Dr. McClellan the American Association of Dental Boards, and receive an interim operating budget update.
Finally, among other business, the Commission will review the interpretive statement on COVID-19 vaccine ordering and administration, review the policy statement on enforcement of AIDS education and training rules, and discuss testing parameters of online CE training, dentists providing vaccination, and the Washington State Restorative Exam update.
