The ESD has also released the second draft of the phase five Paid Family and Medical Leave Rules.
The proposed rules include language addressing employee job protection and benefit overpayments. Additionally, there are proposed modifications to employer responsibilities for reporting employee hours worked.

You can submit feedback regarding the draft rules through the ESD’s
public comment portal. The anticipated date for the final rule filing is May 21, 2019.
