Challenging Oral Pathology Cases for Every Dentist to Know: Interactive Learning

Course Description
This energetic, engaging three-hour talk allows attendees to benefit from interactive teaching through the use of a clicker. Cases selected from the Oral Pathology Biopsy Service, many of them submitted by members of the community in attendance, will be presented. Attendees will be able to make a choice as to the most likely diagnosis on the list of DDX with their clickers. These guesses will be entirely anonymous, and a perfect way to test one’s knowledge of oral pathology. The cases covered will fall into four categories which will include oral cancer; oral single swellings, immune mediated diseases and unilocular radiolucencies.

Course Description
This session will introduce the attendee to treatment protocols for fabricating complete and partial dentures. Treatment planning implants will be discussed as a way to optimize comfort and function of the removable prostheses.
