Three Ways to Get Involved with Dental Advocacy

Make 2018 the year you get involved in dental advocacy! WSDA members make up a vital grassroots advocacy network in support of the Association's legislative agenda, which focuses on improving the dental profession.

Learn more about three ways to get involved with WSDA's dental advocacy efforts:

1. Share Connections with Legislators

Engaging and educating legislators is key to increasing awareness regarding dental related issues and ensuring the voice of organized dentistry is heard in Olympia. WSDA is fortunate to have a strong grassroots network that enables us to call upon our members when legislator contact is necessary.

In order to maintain WSDA’s robust grassroots network, we would like to confirm that we have the most up-to-date records of member-legislator relationships. Do you have a relationship with a Washington state legislator? Please let us know.

2. Attend Dental Action Day

Get involved in grassroots advocacy by attending Dental Action Day, WSDA's largest annual advocacy event! At DAD, you'll meet with legislators to discuss issues relating to WSDA's legislative agenda, which focuses on improving the dental profession.

DAD 2018 will take place on Thursday, January 25 in Olympia.
