From the Commission: The attached proposed rules include delayed implementation dates for the new pediatric sedation endorsement, moderate sedation with parenteral agents and general anesthesia permit on-site inspections, and for updated sedation related continuing education requirements. These delayed implementation dates will be adjusted accordingly based on when rules are finalized. The committee wants to ensure everyone has adequate time to implement these changes. Also attached are two draft on-site inspection forms; one for moderate sedation with parenteral agents permit holders and one for general anesthesia permit holders. The forms were created separate from the proposed rules so they can be modified as needed.
