How to Request a Sign Language Interpreter

Please read the following update from the HCA:

The Health Care Authority (HCA) will be providing Q & A webinars to assist providers in submitting Sign Language requests through ProviderOne. These webinars are designed to give technical assistance, provide resources, and discuss the new process, as well as provide an opportunity for providers to share their feedback to help us continue to streamline the process and better serve our clients.

We want to ensure we are working together to meet Medicaid clients' language access needs. These trainings will be held:

March 11, 2020, 1:30 - 2:30 p.m., register here
March 19, 2020, 9:30 - 10:30 a.m., register here

The webinars, along with additional resources, are also posted on our Sign Language Transition webpage.

Medicaid Transition to Managed Care Cancelled

The 2019 Legislature has directed the Washington State Health Care Authority (HCA) to continue to administer the dental Medicaid program through fee-for-service. The HCA may not proceed with a carved-out or carved-in managed care dental option at this time.
