How to Request a Sign Language Interpreter

Please read the following update from the HCA:

Sign Language Interpreter requests for Medicaid clients will need to be submitted directly to HCA. All providers will be able to use the ProviderOne system to request appointments. 

HCA will be providing training webinars to assist providers in submitting Sign Language requests through ProviderOne.

For urgent requests, please follow the instructions for submitting urgent requests on our Sign Language Transition webpage.

Medicaid Transition to Managed Care Cancelled

The 2019 Legislature has directed the Washington State Health Care Authority (HCA) to continue to administer the dental Medicaid program through fee-for-service. The HCA may not proceed with a carved-out or carved-in managed care dental option at this time.
