Students are encouraged to use the WSDA as a resource. The WSDA holds "Lunch-N-Learns," pairs students with mentor dentists, purchases their disability insurance, sponsors two students to the American Student Dental Association meetings, and has developed an externship program in Washington, D.C., and more.

Dental students who are enrolled in the University of Washington School of Dentistry are automatically members of the Washington State Dental Association at no cost.
