RIPP (Rural Internship in Private Practice)
Every year, two dental students are given an opportunity to work in a rural community with WSDA members. This program provides dental students with the opportunity to experience what life is like as a dentist with a practice in a rural community, and to learn about living and raising a family outside of a major metropolitan area.
THis program is intended to highlight the differences between rural and metropolitan practices. The students will work as dental assistants in the dental practice while experiencing a rural lifestyle. Each student will receive a stipend. It is a two week program between June and August.
If you would like to participate, or to learn more about this program, please contact Wendy Wilson at wendy@wsda.org, or at 800.448.3368.
