Personal Disability

Personal disability is designed to pay benefits when you are unable to work due to illness or injury. Benefit periods are available up to the age of 65 (or 67) or for a lifetime.

WDIA believes that dentists need Personal Disability coverage that is an own-occupation contract meaning that you are considered disabled if you can no longer perform dentistry, even if you were able to work in any other profession.
