New Employer Notification Mandate Under Health Care Reform
A provision of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) now requires all employers to notify their employees about the existence of the newly created health benefit exchanges. All employers are required to make this notification to all current employees by October 1. Several dental offices have reported that they received a notification of this from the Department of Labor.
Though this requirement may appear daunting, the federal government has developed templates that can be printed and shared with your employees:
