Introducing the Delta Dental Medicaid Network

The state of Washington recently released a request for proposal and will contract with at least two carriers to administer the state's Apple Health Dental program. Their goal is simple: improve care delivery for Washingtonians Medicaid population.

Nearly 2 million Washingtonians have Medicaid. The growing Apple Health population includes low-wage workers, young adults getting an education and low-income families. For many people, Apple Health is a temporary benefit as they work their way into higher paying jobs, where they’ll obtain private insurance. And once they do, these patients are likely to remain with your practice. That’s why we’re answering the state’s request for proposal.

With over 60 years of experience improving oral health in Washington, Delta Dental of Washington has partnered with Arcora Foundation and Delta Dental of California to create a new Delta Dental Medicaid Network. As a team, we are dedicated to improving service for Apple Health Dental to support a better patient and provider experience.

Benefits of joining our Delta Dental Medicaid network include:

• No additional credentialing requirements for Delta Dental of Washington member dentists. Once you complete the contract, there are no additional steps required to join the network.
