Apple Health Providers: Submit PA Requests Online

HCA has completed a system update to ProviderOne which allows providers to submit prior authorizations (PAs) for medical requests online.
HCA has completed a system update to ProviderOne which allows providers to submit prior authorizations (PAs) for medical requests online.

What's new?
Until now, providers had to submit PA requests via fax or paper submission. This enhancement will increase efficiency by allowing providers to submit direct data entry and include color photos, x-rays, and all other required PA documentation.

Note: Providers may continue to submit requests by fax or mail. Visit HCA's PA webpage for instructions on these processes.

Can I submit my PAs now?
Yes. User acceptance testing has been completed, and the system is now live.

Medicaid Transition to Managed Care Cancelled

The 2019 Legislature has directed the Washington State Health Care Authority (HCA) to continue to administer the dental Medicaid program through fee-for-service. The HCA may not proceed with a carved-out or carved-in managed care dental option at this time.
