The Health Care Authority (HCA) has announced the apparently successful bidders (ASBs) for the administration of Washington's Dental Medicaid Program.
The 3 ASBs are:
- Amerigroup (partnered with DentaQuest)
- Dentegra (partnership with Delta Dental of California, Delta Dental of Washington and Arcora)
- MCNA Dental
All ASBs will be statewide. While the 3 ASBs will still have to undergo additional steps in order to prepare for taking over the administration of the dental Medicaid program, it is likely that these will be the three companies administering the benefit as of January 1, 2019.
The HCA is committed to ensuring as smooth of a transition as possible, and the WSDA will continue to keep you apprised of further developments.
