The U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Command, commonly referred to as CID, is offering a $15,000 reward to anyone with information leading to the identification of human remains found on Joint Base Lewis-McCord, Wash., and any circumstances surrounding the victim’s death.

The Affordable Care Act’s Pediatric Dental Health Benefit is one of the poorest pieces of legislation ever drafted. It looks like an afterthought. I believe it was irresponsible, if not down right lazy, to send this weak and undefined benefit out to the world like a spring lamb to wolves.

Washington has one of the best children’s dental health safety nets in America – but dental care for vulnerable adults is lacking. It’s time to apply some of the lessons we learned in helping children to the system for adults.
How did our state build such a great system for children? It took long-term collaborative efforts among dentists, community health centers, nonprofits, state agencies and legislators. The state government has consistently allocated funding for the dental Medicaid program for children.
