Federal Advocacy Update

This week, a WSDA delegation traveled to the other Washington to participate in the ADA's annual Washington Leadership Conference. WLC is the federal equivalent of WSDA's Dental Action Day in Olympia. ELECTRONIC HEALTH RECORDS - NO MANDATE IN 2014

Dental offices may have heard rumors about a federal manadate that requires dentists to begin utlizing electronic health records or have "paperless" offices by 2014.  Another rumor is that dentists must be able to create and transmit digital radiographs by 2014.
