• Because entry to the event will be limited, please visit the website and familiarize yourself with the way the Clinic works. Event FAQs
Dr. Steve Albright and his wife, Paula Cipolla have been making the trek to Guatemala to provide dentistry to the masses for the past 12 years — bringing school supplies, toiletries, children’s clothing and underwear to distribute in their take home goodie bags. When they’re in Raxruhá, Alta Verapaz, the area’s host church sells tickets for the equivalent of $1 each to see the physician or the dentist until the tickets run out.
For the past 12 years, WSDA Member and Loma Linda Dental School Adjunct Professor Dr. Kim Nordberg has been making short term dental mission trips to Guatemala and El Salvador with a group that has included his sons Peder and Eric; students from dental schools at Loma Linda, USC and UCLA; and fellow dentists from the Christian Medical Dental Association of Southern California.
