This workshop will teach you how to properly greet your Latino patients, identify terms used to describe and locate pain, as well as teach you the correct Spanish terms for oral hygiene, fillings, and extractions. No Spanish skills are needed to participate in this workshop.
The Washington State Dental Association strongly supports SB 5615. This legislation aims to re-invigorate Washington state's loan repayment program for dentists and physicians and encourages increased scholarship funding for dental students who desire to work in rural and underserved areas. SB 5615 is sponsored by Senator David Frockt (D-Seattle).
The Dental Quality Assurance Commission is looking to fill several positions with actively practicing dentists.
At the end of June, three of the 12 dentists on the Commission will be completing their terms, though one is eligible for reappointment.
