Earlier this year, the ADA released the 2015 version of the Current Dental Terminology (CDT) codes. These new CDT code changes will go into effect January 1, 2015 and include several code changes. Due to the large number of code changes, please make sure to verify that the new procedure codes are covered under a patient’s dental plan and whether documentation is required.
