It’s that time of year again — students across the state are headed back to school. It's a great time to plan and schedule school presentations to educate children in your community about the importance of good oral health.
The Washington Oral Health Foundation has built relationships with Washington schools for more than 15 years, and would be happy to assist in connecting you to a local school for a presentation.
WOHF will support WSDA members and their staff in presenting education messages by providing talking points, Powerpoint slides, 3-D models, and hygiene kits for the children. Some dental offices use it as a team building exercise and bring all their staff to help with the presentation. Many schools will be back in their routines by mid-September, which will be when WOHF starts to reach out and coordinate presentations.
If you are interested in volunteering to present to a school near you, contact Tom Tidyman at (206) 973-5211 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
