« HELP THE WASHINGTON ORAL HEALTH FOUNDATION · GiveBIG ON MAY 15 »

Support the Washington Oral Health Foundation on May 15!

The Seattle Foundation’s GiveBIG is a one-day, online charitable giving campaign to inspire people to give generously to nonprofit organizations in our area.  This will be the first year that WOHF is participating in the GiveBIG day, and we hope it is an opportunity for new donors to show support for the Foundation. GiveBIG is a great opportunity, because Seattle Foundation will match a portion of donations made to WOHF that day through their website.

How it works:
Each donation made to WOHF through the Seattle Foundation website between midnight and 11:59pm (Pacific Time) on May 15, 2013, will go directly to WOHF.  In addition, WOHF will receive a pro-rated portion of the GiveBIG matching funds from Seattle Foundation, called a stretch pool.

What we will do with your generous donations:
Funds raised for WOHF through the GiveBIG day will purchase two-minute sand timers to put into our hygiene kits for children all over the state.

These kids will receive the WOHF oral health education presentation, and then get a hygiene kit complete with toothbrush, toothpaste, floss AND (with your help) a new two-minute sand timer to create awareness about brushing for two minutes, two times per day

A $25.00 donation provides timers to one classroom, a $300.00 donation provides timers to an entire school.

REMEMBER: Only donations posted May 15th (between midnight and 11:59pm) will qualify for the stretch pool - make your generous gift go even further!
