« IT'S HERE: THE WASHINGTON ORAL HEALTH FOUNDATION'S ANNUAL PHONE-A-THON »

For more than a decade, the Washington Oral Health Foundation has been serving communities across the state, providing oral health education in schools, creating acess to care for uninsured children through the Adopt-a-School program, helping the elderly and impoverished get low-cost dentistry through the outreach program, and providing dental care to uninsured children through the Rainier Boys and Girls Club operatory.

Each year the Foundation raises operating dollars by holding a Phone-A-Thon in March. This year, the effort was expanded, and dentists from around the state have been calling upon friends and colleagues throughout the month to donate and help support the work the Foundation does in communities both large and small — your community. "I've been so impressed with the outpouring of support from across the state," said WOHF President Dr. Sally Hewitt, "We're excited to roll up our sleeves and continue to fundraise so that we can expand out programming and reach even more Washington communities!"

Additionally this year, the Foundation is asking for your feedback. When they call, they'll not only ask for your support, they're going to ask how the Foundation can be of service to your community — what tools, goods, and services you need to bring oral health education and better access to you.
