Taxmegeddon? Taxpocalypse? Recently, the blogosphere has been rife with articles warning of dire tax consequences in 2013, when favorable tax provisions expire, and federal income taxes increase. If Bush-era tax breaks are allowed to lapse, a fiscal cliff could occur that would affect small businesses, including dentists. Some options, such as scheduling major purchases before year’s end, could offset losses in tax breaks.
