WSDA's network of grassroots dentists has championed many political issues for members including fights about fluoridation, wastewater regulation, insurance concerns and scope of practice issues. The WSDA
maintains constant vigilance to head-off bad bills and regulatory action, while working toward solutions to Medicaid, low-income access, auxiliary education and insurance reforms.

Government Affairs also:

• Supports candidates who support dentistry's goals through DentPAC, WSDA's political action committee, which has doubled its dollar impact in state and legislative elections.
